Ruffle Cardigan

details

  • The Ruffle Cardigan is an elegant and feminine cardigan designed to be worn over dresses or high-waisted jeans and skirts.

It is made from just one thread, making it light and airy, perfect for balmy summer evenings.

It is worked from top to bottom in stockinette stitch. First, the shoulders are shaped by increases, followed by the two sleeves and the back and front pieces. Then the stitches for the sleeves are put on hold and the body is finished in rows. Once the sleeves are complete, the ruffled hem that adorns the entire cardigan is knitted.

The length of the cardigan itself, as well as the length of the sleeves and the width of the ruffles, can be customized to suit your individual needs and preferences.

  • Size: 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7

    Dimensions of the finished cardigan:

    Chest circumference: 77 (81) 86 (94) 102 (110) 117 cm

Length: 33 (35) 37.5 (39.5) 42 (44) 45 cm (measured at the center back, excluding the ruffle hem)

The cardigan is designed to be worn as close to the body as possible, with the measurements of the finished knitwear piece being as close as possible to your own bust measurement. Before deciding on a size, take your measurements.

The required size is determined based on your chest measurement. This means that the finished cardigan corresponds to a chest circumference of 75–80 (80–85), 85–90 (90–95), 95–105 (105–115), or 115–120 cm. If your chest measurement falls between two sizes, you should choose the smaller size.

Example: If your chest measurement is 93 cm, you should knit a size 4.
