  • The New Beginnings slipover is part of the New Beginnings range. A design collection that aims to make it as easy as possible for budding knitters to get started in the world of knitting.

    The detailed instructions guide you step by step through the basic techniques of knitting with the help of a video tutorial. Each step is shown to you in detail. In no time at all, you will be holding your first (knitted) masterpiece in your hands.

    The knitting kit also includes everything you need for your first knitting project. The right yarn in your desired color, detailed instructions, a video tutorial, knitting needles, and OONIQUE accessories.

  • These instructions cover sizes XS (S), M (L), XL (2XL), and 3XL.

    These correspond to a chest circumference of 80-85 (85-90), 90-95 (95-100), 100-105 (105-115), and 115-125 cm.

    So, for example, if your chest measurement is 93 cm, choose size M.

    If you are between sizes, choose the larger size.

    If you would like the slipover to be a little looser, you can also choose a size larger.

  • The New Beginnings slipover is knitted from Amano's Yana yarn.

    Composition: 100% hand-sorted Peruvian Highland wool

    Alternatively, the slipover can also be knitted from OONIQUE Chunky.

    Composition: 52% merino wool, 48% cotton

  • 9mm circular knitting needle (40, 60, and 80cm)

    (included in the knitting kit)

  • 10 cm = 11 sts knitted in stockinette stitch with 7.5 mm needles (measured after washing and drying)
