  • The New Beginnings Cardigan is part of the New Beginnings range. A design collection that aims to make it as easy as possible for budding knitters to get started in the world of knitting.

    The detailed instructions guide you step by step through the basic techniques of knitting with the help of a video tutorial. Each step is shown to you in detail. In no time at all, you will be holding your first (knitted) masterpiece in your hands.

    The knitting kit also includes everything you need for your first knitting project. The right yarn in your desired color, detailed instructions, a video tutorial, knitting needles, and OONIQUE accessories.

  • These instructions cover sizes XS (S), M (L), and XL (XXL).

    These sizes correspond to a chest circumference of 80-85 (85-90), 90-95 (95-100), and 100-110 (110-120) cm.

    So, for example, if your chest measurement is 93 cm, choose size M.

    Note: The cardigan has an oversized fit. The model in the photos has a bust measurement of approx. 88 cm and is wearing size S.

  • The New Beginnings Cardigan is knitted from Ecopuno Chunky by Lana Grossa.

    Composition: 48% cotton, 33% extra-fine merino wool, 19% alpaca

    The cardigan in the photos was knitted in the color raw white.

  • 6mm circular knitting needle (50 & 100cm)

    7 mm circular knitting needle (100 cm)

    (included in the knitting kit)

  • 10 cm = 12 sts in stockinette stitch with 7 mm needles (measured after washing and drying)

    The number of rows is irrelevant for this design.
