Moonlight Cardigan

details

  • The Moonlight Cardigan can be knitted as a wrap or as an open cardigan.

It is worked from top to bottom in rows. First, stitches are picked up for the shoulders and neck. Raglan increases are then used to shape the shoulder area, while at the same time the V-neck is formed by increases at the beginning and end of the rows. The increases for the neckline are continued until the end. The sleeves are then worked in rounds and shaped with continuous decreases.

The finishing edges and bands are formed by I-cords.

  • XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL)

    Suitable for a chest circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-105 (105-110) cm.

If you are unsure about the right size for you, please choose a size smaller.

  • The Sunlight Wrap is knitted from Cardiff Cashmere's Brushlight yarn.

    Composition: 82% cashmere, 18% silk

The blouse in the photos was knitted in the color "101 - WHITE."

Alternatively, you can also knit the wrap blouse using Setasuri yarn from Lana Grossa.

Composition: 69% alpaca (suri), 31% silk

  • 3.5 mm circular knitting needle (80 & 120 cm)

    3.5 mm double-pointed needles

  • 10x10 cm = approx. 26 sts x 37 rows in stockinette stitch using 3.5 mm needles (measured after washing and drying)

Because the knit fabric is very airy and stretchy, the gauge swatch can easily become "distorted."

The 26M were measured in a relaxed state. When slightly stretched, 10cm corresponds to approx. 25M.
