Coconut Vest

details

  • The Coconut Vest is a summery design with a relaxed, oversized fit.

    First, knit the back section.

Then knit the left and right front pieces separately.

The front and back are then joined together using mattress stitch. This forms the armholes. Finally, the buttonholes are attached using chain stitches.

The bouclé yarn gives the vest its extra fluffy look. It is important to wash and block the vest after knitting, as this is when it will reach its full length.

  • The final chest circumference of the vest: approx. (95-100 cm) 105-110 cm (110-120 cm) 120-130 cm

This corresponds to the following sizes with a positive range of motion: (XXS-XS) S-M (L-XL) XXL-XXXL

Suitable for a chest circumference of approx.: (75-85 cm) 85-95 cm (95-110 cm) 110-120 cm

The measurements of the model in the product photo are as follows:

    Chest circumference: 85 cm

    Back length: 44 cm

    Height: 178 cm

    She wears size S.

  • The Coconut Vest is knitted using two strands of Lana Grossa's fluffy Cocco yarn.

Composition: 62% virgin wool (merino), 25% cotton, 12% polyamide, 1% elastane

The vest in the photos was knitted in light beige.

The designer

Johanna Jacob

Johanna originally comes from the field of psychology and ultimately came to her current profession via a roundabout route, through her hobby.

She has been with OONIQUE since 2022. Not as a designer, but as a permanent team member. Nevertheless, every now and then, a small, snappy design springs from her own needles.
The designs always remain very simple and classic, yet modern at the same time.
